Can’t believe we are already in June!! Where did May go??
Some big things happened in May. One of those big things is our kids completed the school year…. with all A’s. Looking at their report card, you wouldn’t know that anything happened. They both had straight A’s, in advanced courses, throughout the entire 2019-2020 school year. They had to pivot and adapt alongside everyone else in response to the pandemic. We are so proud of them. It was not easy (did you catch our son’s hair 🙂 But they did it with the help of new routines and a ton of grace, bestowed by our almighty creator.
There is some worry about how the next school year will start…in person or online. But as it states in Matthew 6:34, “Don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
It will be August soon enough. We are hoping school will begin in person but will cross that bridge when we get to it. Meanwhile, we are enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather that beckons us outside to feel the sun on our skin, enjoy a popsicle, do some gardening, or go for a walk.
