This has definitely been a season of trust and obedience. I am incredibly grateful for the gentleness and patience in which our Heavenly Father provides guidance. Little by little He has nudged me along only providing the coordinates of the very next step. I want to know the outcomes, but if I did, would l seek God’s guidance as much? Or would I rely on my very finite logic and reasoning to get me to the outcome revealed? God also doles out sharp discipline in just the right time and in measures that shape me with precision. Sharp discipline can be painful but is necessary to erode the old self that so often gets in the way of our new selves made in Christ Jesus.
There is a hope and promise to be made complete with all the fullness of the life and power that comes from God (Ephesians 3:19).
I have thirsted for completeness, I have thirsted for the fullness of life that comes from beyond this physical world…. it comes from God. To be made complete with all the fullness of the life, I pray for God to teach me….mold me to become the woman He envisioned me to be. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit that reveals to me God’s will, character, and thoughts. My trust and love for God is consecrated in my obedience to His will. Obeying His will is not always easy, but the fruits yielded, the lessons learned, and the palpable closeness with God, and so much more, makes it worth it. Living in the center of God’s will is different for everyone. It is an irresistible sweetness for me.
